Overview

The Adidas T-24c is a folding treadmill that delivers a genuine gym style run, indoors. With an 18 kph top speed, 12 levels of incline, 36 pre-set programmes, and Bluetooth connectivity for Zwift and Kinomap, it mixes performance with practicality and folds neatly out of the way when you don’t want to think about exercise!

Delivery and setup

Out of the box, the T-24c is reassuringly solid, yet it comes fully assembled, which is a bonus, so just unfold the running deck and you’re ready to go. The design is sleek and modern, with a strong 2 HorsePower (HP) motor powering your run. The running surface measures 130cm × 61.5cm, which is roomy enough for most strides without the treadmill taking over your home.

One of the best features of this Adidas treadmill is how easily it folds flat and how compact it is, which is ideal if you need to slide it under a bed or stand it against a wall. It feels like a treadmill made for real homes, not just home gyms.

Design & Build

This treadmill is clearly designed with home use in mind. At 62.5kg, it feels stable underfoot but not so heavy that it can’t be repositioned with the transport wheels. Dimensions are 165cm long, 84cm wide, and 130cm high, and when folded it slims down to just 29cm high. That’s a genuine space-saver. The running surface (130cm × 61.5cm) won’t rival commercial gym machines, but it’s more than adequate for walking, jogging, and some faster runs. The fully assembled delivery is a real win too, so no fiddly setup, just unfold and get burning those calories!

Performance & Features

The T-24c’s 2 HP continuous motor (2HP) drives speeds up to 18kph, giving enough headroom for interval sprints as well as steady runs. The 12 levels of incline, reaching up to 12% elevation, add welcome variety and intensity to training. There are 36 pre-set programmes plus options for target time, distance, or calorie workouts, which is perfect if you like guided sessions. Console feedback includes five key metrics: speed, time, distance, calories, and incline, so you can track performance at a glance. Add in the auto stop safety system and you’ve got both challenge and security built in.

Connectivity & Warranty

Bluetooth connectivity is a major plus: link to Zwift or Kinomap for immersive running worlds or virtual races, or sync with health apps to log every session. It keeps things engaging and helps push through the “treadmill boredom” many people dread. Worth noting that whilst you can connect to the apps, after their free trials end, you then have to have a paid subscription. The treadmill runs from mains power and has transportation wheels for easy moving. Maximum user weight is 110 kg (17 st 5 lb), so it’s best suited to light and medium-built runners. Adidas also provides a 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee covering parts and labour, which gives you that peace of mind.

Features We Really Liked

  • 12 incline levels up to 12%, so you can add hills without leaving home.
  • 36 pre-set programmes, so you won’t get bored!
  • Bluetooth connectivity ( Zwift, Kinomap, and fitness app support)
  • Fully assembled on delivery! Just need to find a power point.
  • Auto stop safety system, giving reassurance during intense sessions

The no manual test – How easy is it to operate without instructions?

The system is basic and so straightforward to use, speed and incline are easily adjusted and there is an option to choose from up to 10 pre-set programmes. I did not fully investigate the ability to set your own workout plan but the option is available should you require that level of flexibility.

The ability to play your music through the built in speakers is nice but again the quality is not as good as some of the other budget treadmills in this category. Also using Bluetooth to play music just seems like old technology, it eats your battery life and just makes things more complicated than plugging in a simple male to male audio cable.

The Roger Black Plus treadmill also has the safety feature of red tag. This means you can attach a clip to your clothing as you run, should you have an accident the system with perform an immediate stop.

A heart rate monitor can be used as you run to monitor your pulse and the main LCD screen is basic for those who require a no frills product.

One of the major drawbacks to this system compared to a more expensive model or brand such as Reebok, Adidas or V-fit is the cushioning system. It isn’t as effective as other treadmills meaning as you run the whole running track bounces as it takes the impact. With the other treadmills it feels like you have a better system that absorbs more of the impact as you run giving you a better feel during your workout.

Like many compact treadmills this version can fold into an upright position for storage should you need to move the treadmill for any reason.

  • Console feedback with 5 display functions
  • Folds flat for compact storage

  • 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee

Cons

  • Max user weight 17st 5lbs (110kg)
  • Running deck smaller than pro gym models
  • Basic console.
  • Mains powered, no battery option

Final thoughts on the Adidas T-24c

The Adidas T-24c is a treadmill that punches above its weight. It isn’t trying to be a hulking gym monster, it’s designed for homes that want serious workouts without sacrificing space. It folds flat, stores neatly, and still manages to deliver 18 kph speed, 12% incline, and plenty of built-in training options.

The console is basic and the max user weight is capped at 110 kg, but for most runners it will feel stable, smooth, and satisfyingly challenging. Add in Bluetooth app integration and a 2-year guarantee, and you’ve got a practical, versatile treadmill that makes staying fit at home a space-saving breeze!.
