The JTX Club-Professional Treadmill claims to have many features that professional runners look for. However, it does come with a hefty price tag. Let’s find out if it is worth digging deeper into your pockets to buy this treadmill.

First Impressions

The JTX Club-Pro treadmill certainly looks like a serious professional treadmill. Looks are important when it comes to this treadmill. It is non-folding which means it will be on permanent display in your home. That is an important factor you must not lose sight of before you place your order. 

The 4HP AC motor adds longevity and reliability to the treadmill. If you are looking for a gym endurance workout at home, the motor is very important. Just like commercial treadmills, the JTX Club Pro is fitted with AC (alternative current) motor. 

Exercising on the treadmill for a longer period of time should help to contribute to a comfortable workout. The treadmill is fitted with a JTX trademark CushionStep-Pro deck. The cushioned deck supports longer and more intense workouts at a speed which should help you to increase your time spent on the treadmill.

Set-Up:

When it comes to assembling and set up, there is no denying this is a beast of a treadmill. Out of its box (or two boxes as delivered), it weighs 167kg. In other words, when setting up the treadmill there needs to be at least two of you.

Before you start setting up, it is important to make sure you have the tools for the job. To complete the assembly you need a T-shaped spanner, an Allen key, a cross-open spanner, a  7“ spanner and a 17/19” spanner.

Once you have unpacked the box, it is also a good idea to make sure all of the accessories are in the boxes. Lay all of the components out and start the assembly. Fully assembled the treadmill measures 88cm in width, 216 in length and 154 cm in height. 

It has to be said that this is a large treadmill. As it does not fold away, you have to think about where you are going to put it. If you have a dedicated area such as a home gym, it is an excellent treadmill. Once set up, you will be impressed with the treadmill.

It has an impressive running track measuring 155cm in length and 57cm in width. The joints in your knees and hips are going to appreciate the 8-point commercial standard shock absorption system, too.

Build Quality:

The build quality is second to none. The fact that the 4Hp motor can handle a maximum user weight of 160kg is impressive. It is clear that JTX is confident when it comes to the quality of this JTX Club Pro as it is one of the few home treadmills being offered with a 3-year in-home repair on parts and labour warranty, a 10-year warranty on the motor and a lifetime frame warranty!

Workout Performance & Experience:

The 4HP AC motor is the most important component of this treadmill. It ensures a smooth-running experience. Added to the benefit of the motor are other features. The running deck is supported by 2.8” rollers which deliver a fluid motion.

You would have thought you may have a problem with noise with such a powerful motor. However, it has to be said the treadmill has a surprisingly low noise level. The Black Diamond running belt offers an above-average grip which you would expect from a treadmill in this price category.

When you are looking for a challenging workout experience, you can trust the treadmill to deliver. It offers 15 mechanical inclines to challenge you during your home workout and goes to sprinting speeds of up to 22kph We would be amiss if we did not mention some of the “tech” that comes with the treadmill.

Thanks to its advanced onboard computer, the JXT Club Pro gives you all of the stats you need. Users benefit from time, speed, pulse, speed, distance, calories burnt and speed. The fitted 7” inch screen is easy to read. The JTX Club Pro comes with 43 built-in programs which have been designed by a JTX personal trainer.

Thanks to the cushioned track, your running experience is excellent and the incline is easy to control with the touch of a button. The Kinomapp and Zwift apps are features you can add to the workout experience.

Things we really liked:

The large and cushioned running deck is a pleasure to run on and makes the workout more comfortable.

High-quality built-in speakers to keep you motivated.

The variety of apps you can connect to such as Peloton, Nike, Zwift and Kinomap.

Final thoughts on the JTX Club-Pro Professional Treadmill

Is it worth the money? If you are a professional or serious runner, the JTX Club Pro Professional Treadmill is certainly worth the money. Perhaps it is best to see it as an investment.

Thanks to its build quality and high-end components such as the motor and cushioned track, this is a treadmill that is going to stand the test of time. It has to be said that this is not a treadmill for the average home runner and is a commercial level, so consider other at-home options if this will break the bank.
