First Impressions

The YYFITT 2-in-1 foldable fitness exercise bike is sleek, stylish and versatile. It’s dual-purpose use, allows for flexibility and makes a great piece of equipment for a beginner or someone looking to get the most out of the space in their home. It’s reasonable price tag means you won’t break the bank, but it gives you that peace of mind knowing that you’re investing in something sturdy and worthwhile.

It comes with a range of handy features, in particular how quiet it is to use, as well as the adjustable XL backrest, meaning you can find a comfortable and supportive position when exercising.

It’s also foldable, which is great for storage and hiding away when you don’t want to think about exercise!

And the phone holder comes in very useful if like me, you use your phone for music when working out and don’t want to have a bulky phone shoved in your pockets.

If you’re looking for something with loads of fancy performance features, this exercise bike might not be the one for you, however if you’re looking for a reliable and comfortable starter machine, then I highly recommend considering this piece of equipment.

Detailed review of the YYFITT 2-in-1 Foldable Fitness Exercise Bike

It did take a bit of time to set up, but that is to be expected with any at home gym equipment.

It took me about an hour or so, but that was by myself. I found the instructions clear to follow and there was a handy online video to help explain it further in case I got confused.

I would say that it would be easier with two people as while it is lighter than other at home gym products at 18kgs, if you’re not use to heavy lifting objects, it would be safer to have an extra pair of hands to help.

The bike can be folded into a standing position to help with storage, as well as one of the stands coming with built in wheels to make it easier to move around.

A foldable exercise bike is always a winner with the at-home gym market, and this bike is no exception.

Although one thing to note would be when putting it away be careful of hand placements as it is still a fairly heavy piece of equipment, and you wouldn’t want it closing on your hand.

I found the seat easy to adjust to my height, which is so useful as one concern with at home bikes is if they are suitable for all heights.

One feature I absolutely love is the resistance bands. They may not be as heavy as if you were doing an upper body workout but as something to add to your cardio, I find them very useful.

I love exercises that focus on several areas of my body so I don’t have to spend hours working upper body, cardio, legs etc. With this bike I can do all that in one which means I’ve found it a lot easier to fit in a workout, and I’m much more motivated to get on the bike.

Like many, the at-home workout has become my staple in recent times, so investing in versatile equipment that has dual purposes is a great space saver, especially if you find free space in your house at a premium.

It comes with a clear and easy to use LCD display, ideal for tracking your progress, as well as a very handy phone holder.

This is something I found very useful, as I often use my phone for music but hate having it in a pocket where it can be hard to access or even worse lead to the dreaded pocket dial.

The YYFITT bike is one of the more affordable bikes on the market at the moment, especially when compared to other of similar quality. At £160-170 it is on the cheaper scale, but the quality is still there.

Its strong and sturdy with a comfortable seat, and with an LCD display board that has a phone holder, it certainly gives you a pretty strong bang for your buck. The others of a similar standard can easily push upwards of £300, so at nearly half that figure, you can’t go far wrong with this one.

  • 16 levels of resistance but limited tension for more experienced users.
  • Hand pulse and exercise tracker to monitor workouts.
  • Adjustable frame allowing for easy storage.
  • Resistance bands for upper body workouts.
  • Shoe strap, anti-slip pedals.
  • Can support weights up to 120kgs (just under 19 stone).
  • Comfortable seat with back rest that has 2 adjustable heights: 38cm and 47cm.
  • Adjustable seat that can go as low as 96cm.
  • Only 18kgs (under 3 stone) in weight, so easy to move around.

  • Good for beginners but might lack the higher performance features for more advanced users.
  • Assembly can be quite time consuming (although definitely easier with 2 people).

How does the YYFITT 2-in-1 Foldable Fitness Exercise Bike compare to the Opti Folding Magnetic Exercise Bike?

While the Opti folding bike is slightly cheaper, I think the YYFITT 2-in-1 has it beat. Not only does it have the extra addition of the resistance bands, but it can also hold more weight; up to 120kgs compared to the Opti’s 100kgs, which makes it perfect for anyone who wants to get into cycling.

The Opti is a bit lighter so it might be easier to move around especially for those that aren’t use to lifting heavy, however the wheels on the YYFITT do help with that problem, although of course if you have an injuring or mobility issue you might still prefer to go for the lighter one.

Both can be easily assembled, with the ability to be folded for storage which is a definite plus for both but the extra features you get with the YYFITT, especially those resistance bands and the large back seat, for me makes it the clear choice.

Final thoughts on the YYFITT 2-in-1

Overall, the bike is worth the money in my opinion, especially at under £200. You get what you pay for and more. It’s comfortable, easy to use and the 2-in-1 feature really provides that additional benefit in comparison to other models on the market.

While some may say the bands could be heavier for more tension, I think using them in conjunction with the cardio is enough for beginners to average exercise enthusiasts and it’s a fun way to change up your workout routine.

The comfort of the seat with its large adjustable back is a definite plus in my books as sometimes for me, what can stop me going for longer on other bikes is that my back begins to hurt due to lack of support- so now I’ve got no excuse not to exercise!

We love the YYFITT 2-in-1 Foldable Fitness Exercise Bike, and the best bit, it’s actually in stock!!
