We have a new player to the market, and it’s a brand by Argos.
Hello and welcome Pro Fitness! Similar to their Roger Black fitness range, they have launched a new collection of treadmills and bikes, all great quality, and at a price that won’t break the bank. The only thing we don’t like about them is when they are out of stock!
We compared and reviewed some Pro Fitness exercise bikes to see what they were like and whether you should think about adding any of them to your home workout routine…
Pro Fitness FEB1000 Folding Exercise Bike Review:
Coming in at just over £100, this is the cheapest bike option in the Pro Fitness bike range. It is foldable so perfect for those that need to save space. It also has the basic features you would need to hit those home workout goals.
The manual resistance system has an 8 level tension control and you can measure your speed, distance, calories and time. You can adjust the seat height for comfort and the max user weight for this machine is over 15 stone too.
The biggest difference verses the other bikes is the 2.5kg flywheel- which is fine for mild to moderate workouts, but if you’re a keen cycler then this probably wouldn’t give you the workout challenge you need!
However, this is perfect for someone looking to get back into fitness or just burn some calories without having to look at a permanent fixture in your home all day!

Pro Fitness FEB2000 Folding Exercise Bike Review:
The other folding bike in the Pro Fitness range is the FEB2000. This is a little more expensive than the FEB1000 but has some key differences to justify the price increase.
First of all, it has a 3kg flywheel which means it’s heavier and can give you a more challenging workout. Despite being folding, it has some comfortable features like the adjustable seat, but also has a seat back- something that will make your workout a little more enjoyable and something not normally seen on a folding bike.
To set yourself some good home goals, there is a screen display to keep on track, with the usual speed, distance, time, calories- but also has an odometer so you can feel motivated by seeing the huge distances you’ve travelled over time!
The bike is easy to assemble and also comes with a 1 year guarantee. Want our opinion? If you have £30 to spare, upgrading to this foldable Pro Fitness FEB2000 with the extra features would be a great choice. And don’t worry, you can still fold it down and forget about it when you’ve had enough of exercising!

Pro Fitness EB1000 Exercise Bike Review:
This is the budget choice in the range of fixed/non-folding Pro Fitness exercise bikes, but we wouldn’t say its features are budget!
At a similar price as the FEB2000, this definitely has more features and provides better value for money, but (and it’s a BIG but), only if you’ve got the room to store a bike in your home.
Unlike the folding bikes, this is a magnetic resistance system (not manual) with 8 level tension control and has a fair 4kg flywheel, which will give you the option to have a harder, more challenging workout.
It’s not anything fancy, but it has a 5 inch LCD monitor (that needs AAA batteries by the way!), and will allow you to easily track your goals by measuring all the usual, PLUS tracks activity carried out in a calendar and also your temperature!
Being a fixed and sturdy piece of equipment also means a max user weight of nearly 19 stone, so suitable for most. It is also the similar dimensions that most bikes in this category are at H140x W56 xD86 cm.

Pro Fitness EB2000 Exercise Bike Review:
We like the look of this bike, definitely one of the fancier looking ones in the Pro Fitness range- in a lovely red! The EB2000 has some fab features, but that also means it’s slightly pricier at nearly £200.
The first thing to mention is unlike the other bikes we’ve reviewed, this one has pre-set programmes, 12 of them from focusing on body fat to endurance rides, so even if you’re new to home workouts, you can make sure you’re achieving the goals you want by choosing the right workout.
This also has a heavier flywheel of 6kg, so that along with an electronic resistance system, means you can really vary your workout, and this is a great feature whether you’re a novice or a cycling pro!
The electronic system makes changing resistance levels easy, and you can track everything with the feedback you get from the 5-inch screen. It’s also all about comfort- with an adjustable seat, adjustable handlebar and armrest, you’ll be so comfortable on this bike, you might decide to move it to your living room!
We love this bike, and we can see why other customers do too! Perhaps one thing to mention though, it can be a little fiddly to set up- so make sure you put some time aside to assemble it properly!

Pro Fitness EB3000 Exercise Bike Review:
Now we’re talking, the creme de la crème of Pro Fitness bikes! The EB3000 has everything you could ever need in a home exercise bike, and at just under £230, is a steal vs other branded bikes with similar features.
It looks nice and has all the mod cons to go with it! This is mains powered and has a large (larger than the other bikes we’ve talked about), LCD display screen where you will find all the feedback you need, from calories, to damping level, to temperature- you won’t know where to put all the information!
And there is a whopping 18 user programmes, so you’ll never get bored of your workouts. The electronic resistance system, adjustable seat and handlebars all help to make your workout as easy and enjoyable as possible.
The very heavy 9kg flywheel means this bike would even be a challenge for a pro, and really get you sweating out those calories! Something to mention is because this is on the sturdy side, it is heavy, so you will need a hand moving it and putting it together.
It is also slightly larger than other fixed bikes with a depth of 94cm (vs c86cm on others). Saying that, this is a lovely bike that certainly will make hitting those home workout goals a little more fun!
