Ultrasport F-Bike Review
The Ultrasport F-Bike is a sturdy and reliable beginner exercise bike, ideal for anyone looking to start exercising more, without forking out hundreds in the process.
Exercise bikes are great for those who are looking to get something for their cardio needs, but lack either the space or money to invest in a much larger piece of equipment, such as a treadmill.
The Ultrasport F-Bike ticks all the basics in terms of what you need from an exercise bike, although if you are a more experienced exercise bike user, who are really looking to push and stretch themselves when exercising, then I would recommend getting something more high-tech and advanced, although this obviously comes with the much higher price tag.
With 8 varying levels of resistance, you can mix up your workouts, although the max resistance level isn’t huge.

Out of the box features
You will be able to do HIIT style workouts on this bike, however this will be mainly come down to varying your pedal speed, rather than varying your resistance levels.
The LCD display allows you to track your progress, incorporating all the essential exercise metrics, although it can only store your last workout, so if you are looking to thoroughly track your progress, then I would recommend either getting an app and inputting the data that way or do it the old fashioned way with the good old pen and paper!
The Ultrasport F-Bike has a recommended max user weight of 100kg (15.5 stone) and a max user height of 200cm (6ft 5inch), meaning it should be suitable a wider audience base.
One downside, is that if you are of shorter stature at anything under 5ft 2 or so, the pedals can be a little tough to reach, so keep this in mind before purchasing as to whether you think this could be an issue for you or not.
One other thing to mention, is if you are looking for a slightly heavier max user weight, the F-Bike Design goes up to 110kgs (17.3 stone) and has all the great features of the standard Ultrasport F-Bike.

Detailed review of the Ultrasport F-Bike
Setup
The frame comes pre-assembled, so the only thing you need to do is attach the pedals, seat and handlebars.
One quirk to be aware of is that the bike pedals need to be screwed in, in opposite directions (right pedal clockwise, left pedal anti-clockwise).
Altogether, assembly should take roughly around 30 minutes and once the bike is set up, all you need to do is to add batteries to the LCD display and you’re good to go.
Batteries aren’t included, so make sure you have some batteries (2 x AAA) on hand if you want to start riding straight away.
Build and Dimensions
The bike weighs in at 17kg (2.6 stone), so it should be fairly easy to move around for the majority of users.
The bike is also foldable, which is ideal for storage, it’s compact design also helps in this regard, with unfolded dimensions of approximately 50.5cm x 43.5cm x 112cm and folded dimensions of 45 cm x 47cm x 132.5cm.
The recommended maximum user weight is 100kg, although I know users who have been slightly above this and reported no issues but keep this in mind if you do fall into the over the 100kg category. The max user height is 200cm, so again if you are over this height, it could be worth investing in something else that can cater to your needs.
One issue that others have reported is the limited seat height adjustment levels. If you are below 5ft 2 or so, you might find the pedals a bit of a reach, so again, keep this in mind before deciding to purchase.
Features

The Ultrasport F-Bike comes with 8 varying resistance levels, which allows you to mix up your workout, although the maximum resistance level is a lot lower than other higher performance exercise bikes on the market, although these do come with the higher price tag.
This bike is more designed to provide a consistent and easy cycling experience for beginners, who are looking to add more exercise to their overall lifestyle.
This bike comes with an LCD display, which allows you to track your progress and effectiveness of your workout.
This keeps track of all the key metrics for your workout, such as time, speed, calories, distance and pulse.
The pulse sensors in the hands can be slightly temperamental at times, so just keep that in mind if you want to check your pulse, it may take a few tries to give you a reading.
Performance
The Ultrasport F-Bike provides a sturdy and stable riding experience, where it doesn’t rattle or wobble in use.
This allows the user to exercise as little or as much as they want and they still get the consistent performance feel.
This bike is ideal for fuss-free use, where it takes up little storage room and you can simply unfold the bike and get cycling straight away and then when finished, simply fold and put away, easy as that.
One drawback is that the saddle can be a little sore after a while of cycling, so something I like to do is invest in a saddle cover, to just provide that extra bit of comfort.

- LCD display, allowing you to track your workout
- Foldable design for space efficiency

How does the Ultrasport F-Bike compare to the Roger Black Gold Folding Magnetic exercise bike?

These exercise bikes are very similar in terms of price, features and functionality.
Both appeal to the beginner market, aiming to provide the hassle-free indoor exercise option. The Roger Black bike is nearly 4kg heavier than the Ultrasport F-bike, although this extra weight does provide that little bit more robust feel.
Both exercise bikes offer the 8 levels of resistance and both have the useful feedback console, although for me personally, I prefer the layout of the Ultrasport F-bike.
In terms of how they feel when in-use, the similarities continue, with both offering a consistent riding feel, which is both quiet and smooth.
In terms of which to choose, there really isn’t much that separates these two exercise bikes and both offer a practical solution for the beginner user.

Final thoughts on the Ultrasport F-Bike Fitness Bike
Fuss-free and at a reasonable price, the Ultrasport F-Bike is an excellent addition to any at-home gym.
The compact and foldable design is great for those looking to maximise on space. If you are looking for a bike that has all the bells and whistles, then I would recommend stretching the purse strings slightly more and investing in a higher-tech exercise bike.
However if you just want an exercise bike that allows you to simply get on and go, whilst providing a smooth and quiet riding experience, then I would seriously consider investing in the Ultrasport F-Bike.
