First Impressions

The JLL T350 folding treadmill is a high-quality treadmill, providing a great at-home running solution for a very reasonable price for what you are getting in return.

It’s compact design doesn’t detract from your workout in any way, whilst also providing a great storage solution if you are looking to save on space.

The JLL T350 really comes into its own with the number of features it provides the user.

With over 20 programs, generous max speed capacity, 20 varying levels of incline and 3 custom programs on offer, this treadmill really caters for flexible use, allowing you to mix up your running routines, something I’m a big advocate of.

At just under £600, it’s certainly not the cheapest on the market, aimed at the more experienced runner, who is willing to invest in a treadmill that can keep up with more demanding workouts. The sleek and stylish JLL T350 does exactly that.

Detailed review of the JLL T350 Digital Folding Treadmill

Set Up

Weighing in at 59kg (about 9 stone), this treadmill can be quite heavy to move, although not as heavy as some other models, so keep that in mind when you’re setting it up, as you might need someone else to help you.

It took me quite a while to get it set up too, and was on the more complicated side, compared to other treadmills.

That being said, it is a treadmill that comes with all the bells and whistles of useful features, so the slightly longer set-up time was well worth it once completed.

The black and steel finish, provide a high-class look and the compact design is ideal for storage. The foldable aspect is always a bonus too and can accommodate a generous user weight of 120kg (nearly 19 stone), making it suitable for runners of all shapes and sizes.

Price

The LED display console on this treadmill is among the largest and most detailed you can find in a home treadmill.

It shows very clearly and conveniently all the workout information you need to know (run time, distance, speed, calories burned, incline, and programme), providing an informed exercise experience.

Additionally, the console allows you full control over the treadmill’s range of adjustable settings, all conveniently modifiable right at your fingertips.

Features

For me, where the JLL T350 really comes into its own is the amount of features it has. Coming with 20 levels of incline, you can really adjust your exercise routines and plans. Incline walking can burn up to four times the calories that regular walking can, so having this feature available is a real plus.

The treadmill also comes with a 5-inch LCD display, which is easy to use, clear and backlit, allowing you to easily track your running progress.

The display provides all the essential workout metrics such as time, speed, distance, incline, and calories.

You can also read your heart rate so that you can adjust your workout difficulty according to your pulse.

Performance:

There is a 16-point cushion system, which helps reduce the impact on your joints. The cushioning system absorbs the impact during your running, allowing for a smooth-running experience. This is something I really like, as I like running long distances, so it’s good to know that my joints are well protected.

There is also a pause feature, meaning you can pause your workout anytime.

This is a great safety point and it also allows you to continue right where you left off if something was to interrupt your exercise.

In terms of the running surface, it is a generous 121cm x 41cm. This is slightly smaller than other competitors on the market, however this treadmill is designed to be compact.

This wasn’t an issue for me personally, but when buying a treadmill, always consider what the features are that you must have.

Pros

  • 20 incline levels
  • 20 workout programs
  • 3 custom programs
  • Generous 18km/h max speed
  • 16-point cushioning
  • USB and Aux connectivity
  • 5-inch LCD display
  • 2-year warranty for parts and labour
  • 5-year warranty for motor

Cons

  • Can be slightly noisy when in use
  • Quite time consuming to construct

How does the JLL T350 Treadmill compare to the Pro Fitness T3000 Folding Treadmill?

The Pro Fitness T3000 Folding Treadmill is slightly more expensive than the JLL T350, coming in at about £100 more. Both treadmills are high quality and amongst the best at-home treadmills on the market. The T350 has 20 programmes, whereas the T3000 has an enormous 36.

The Pro Fitness T3000 also has a higher max speed at 20 km/h vs. 18 km/h, as well as a wider running surface at 145cm x 51cm.

The Pro Fitness T3000 also has a larger LED display, although both treadmills provide the same level of performance data feedback.

Both treadmills also offer the wide range of incline settings. In terms of running experience, both treadmills provide a smooth-running surface, high-quality cushioning system and feel strong and robust.

The main difference is the size and style of the treadmills. Although both do fold for storage, The JLL T350 is more compact and around 30kg lighter than the T3000.

This makes it easier for moving around and takes up less space.

Whether or not you go for the JLL T350 or the Pro Fitness T3000 really depends on the amount of money you’re willing to spend.

Both offer high-quality running experiences, although the T3000 does provide the slightly higher specs in terms of programs and max speed, however this does come at the extra cost.

Final thoughts on the Nero Sports Folding Treadmill

Overall, the JLL T350 delivers across the board in terms of features and a high-class running experience you would want from an at-home treadmill. It really doesn’t have many weaknesses at all.

I really like the wide variety of programmes, generous max speed and the ability to connect to my devices.

The cushioning technology also provided comfort for my knees, something I value very highly when looking for a treadmill.

It’s certainly not the cheapest, and more basic models are out there if you’re not willing to spend north of £500, although if you were looking for a treadmill that offers more than the basics and is compact, then the T350 could be a good choice for you!
